Hint of Spring

03/02/2013 By Kirsty 12 Comments

Out in the garden there is still an icy wind whistling through the bare branches of the trees but we have noticed a hint of Spring.  The early shoots of daffodils are a sign to me that Spring is just around the corner and it won’t be long before we can hope to feel some warm sunshine on our faces again.

Most exciting of all was the first crocus, curled up deep inside the lawn.

Me too! My waistline can’t cope with more hot chocolate.

Our snowdrops are just poking out. I love this time of year, there’s so much to show the children.

I love those little signs of spring. We have snowdrops in our garden, currently hidden by snow, but I know they are there!
