Bring Me Sunshine

05/04/2013 By Kirsty 6 Comments

I saw these Ranunculus flowers at the local florist earlier this week and decided to treat myself to a little bit of sunshine indoors.  They are sitting in a little vase in the kitchen and they have been a welcome bit of warmth and colour in an otherwise wintry week.

They are beautiful. I never buy my own flowers, I always see them as a luxury and I’d rather have chocolate, but they do inject cheer on gloomy days so maybe I should

Or you could just drop really massive, obvious hints to your other half and hope he gets the message. I agreed to no flowers on Valentines etc on the understanding that my hubby could buy flowers spontaneously throughout the year. Massive hints need to be dropped to inspire these spontaneous moments so I’m thinking I might as well just treat myself 🙂

Gorgeous. I had to drag myself away from some of these in the garden centre this week, as I have way too much stuff growing in the kitchen at the moment.
